Artist Statement

I am a collage artist with a passion for mixed media techniques. I draw inspiration from the splendor of nature, and I want to take viewers on a visual journey through layers of pattern and color.

I love to travel and many of my pieces are based on photos that my husband takes.

I find that exploring the world gives a unique perspective to my work. I get excited to work on a series of pieces based on our latest adventure.

I have been creating most of my life, using various mediums, jumping around to this and that.

Then I fell in love with the process of collage. Not just collaging itself, but also creating the printed papers as well.

It is in the act of tearing the paper by hand that my art truly comes to life.

With each new creation, I invite you to embrace the wonder of how the fragments of life come together to create the artwork beauty of living.
