Support the development/education of emerging as well as established, local artists. Help us to continue to provide art education and scholarships to budding artists.
SAAG’s mission is to create a forum for artists to study, to share and to show their artwork. the purpose of SAAG is to provide opportunities for the exchange of ideas through lectures and demonstrations. SAAG shall support the visual arts and shall encourage, educate and promote its members’ work through exhibitions while striving for high standards of quality. SAAG shall encourage and promote community awareness of the visual arts.
Each year SAAG sponsors dozens of event for the public including free art instruction at our Community Art Fest, and monthly Art Walks. The Guild also hosted hundreds of public art classes.
For our artist members the Guild provided the opportunity to show at our Gallery, as well as show at a number of special exhibits all around Tucson. Further we provided monthly educational opportunities for our artists through professional speakers.

Donations of any amount are welcome, whether it is a one time donation; monthly contributions, or a donation in the name of a friend or family member. With your important and generous contribution we can continue to provide support to local artists by continuing education opportunities and by showcasing their talent throughout the community.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, your donation is tax deductible, to the extent allowable under the U.S. Law. Because the Southern Arizona Arts Guild is an all volunteer organization virtually all of your donation goes directly to providing services and art space to artists. Don’t delay! The Guild’s monthly Community Art Fest invites the public to stop by the plaza just outside our gallery doors to learn a new art skill taught by volunteer teachers from SAAG. All the supplies are provided and everyone is encouraged to get creative. On average the Guild teaches just under 1,000 community visitors each year.
