MISSION STATEMENT
SAAG is an organization created to provide a forum for artists to study, to share and to show their artwork. The purpose of SAAG shall be to provide opportunities for the exchange of ideas through lectures and demonstrations. SAAG shall support the visual arts and shall encourage, educate and promote its members’ work through exhibitions while striving for high standards of quality. SAAG shall encourage and promote community awareness of the visual arts.

Artistic Purity: I will be dedicated to the pursuit of excellence of aesthetics and craftsmanship in my work.
Respect and Encouragement: I will be kind to all members. I will exhibit respect for my fellow artists and their work, avoiding unjust criticism, actions, or comments designed to harm their artistic standing or work. I will willingly give of my knowledge and provide encouragement to artists individually and collectively so that the quality of fine art may continually be raised.
Presentation: I will endeavor to enhance the discipline of fine art by maintaining a dignity of manner in the presentation of my work and all other forms of public contact.
Honesty: I will observe the highest standard of honesty in all my transactions, avoiding the use of false claims, confusing or inaccurate descriptions of the creative activity or product, or misrepresentations as to the proper authorship of any work. I will treat all members with fairness and respect. In all matters relating to this Creed, I will recognize the authority of SAAG and agree to hold harmless the board of directors in any decision made on behalf of the Guild.
