American West Landscape Artist
Sacred is a collection of work born of a return to the Self; a return to source, the roots of our existence. We cannot take these sacred places for granted. We are of the earth; WE need the earth to survive...we are nature. Sacred places such as these are what is true, what is natural, what should be protected and valued.
The Sacred collection is meant to take you inside yourself, to a place you might not go often enough. The place where you can find stillness and truth, silence alongside the echo of your knowing. LISTEN, to your Self, to the sounds that the earth makes, and twice as much as you speak.
Artist Statement
Emily Scott is a certified PMP and Salesforce enthusiast by day and an award-winning self-taught artist by night. Born and raised in the Kootenai Valley in northwest Montana, she headed to Seattle for college and grad school before spending several years overseas interning, volunteering within Peace Corps, travelling, eating, and seeking epic nature, all the while growing her art business. Twenty countries later, she is back in the Southwest US making art inspired by the natural wonders from her travels and surroundings, creating works that emanate the constant soothing-yet-powerful energy of our universe.
Emily is passionate about empowering women to step into their true Selves, to love themselves, and to take control of their own personal uprising, whatever that may look like.
Emily has had her work featured at Kew Royal Botanical Gardens, VIDA, Minted and The Unity Closet as well as on several blogs including Desert Hue, Arts Business Institute, Inner Moonlight Designs and Women in Art 278. Her work was also featured on DIY SOS: the big build on the BBC and lives in private collections all over the world. Emily wishes to remind viewers of her art of the connection that we all have to the earth and to all elements of the universe.

"Rhythmic"
Seasons are cyclical. Tucson’s monsoon season is no different. The rhythm of the thunder and the cleansing rainstorm that follows almost daily in the summer is healing, comforting in its reliability. The aftermath delivers an epic sunset, without fail, a breathtaking scene that never gets old and never repeats itself.

"Glide"
The journey of healing is never complete. Once you learn to surrender, let it flow - around you, through you - you begin to Glide. Allow it to lift you up, carry you through the successes, the moments of epiphany that take you to every next level of yourself and your journey.

"Morph"
During a transformation, you rarely realize. Once you’re on the other side of that metamorphosis, you barely recognize that previous version of yourself. You come to see the beauty in that old you, and how she created the you of today. And then, how grateful you are that she did.
