Artist Statement
I've been a working artist for at least 35 years. I began doing only pen and ink wildlife, and selling in outdoor shows in Arizona, then moved to the Northwest.
I continued doing shows in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. I added western subjects to my work and portraits.
In 1999 I learned about Metalpoint artwork and taught myself how to use various metals, and settled on Fine Silver as my preferred medium.
Very few artists worldwide use metalpoint. I now do a variety of mixed media pieces, using Silver, graphite and ink. Recently i've been exploring graphite and enjoy the smoothness of the medium.
